I can't think of a better way to end a weekend then with some delicious boba tea. These little drinks originated in Taiwan in 1983. They come in many different flavors, my favorite flavor is definitely strawberry...mmmm. What makes these drinks different is that they actually contain little sweet brown tapioca balls at the bottom of the drink. In order to drink this delightful drink you need an over sized straw to slurp the tapioca down.

I was first introduced to them in 1995 I took one sip and was hooked. I have now introduced a few friends to the drink. One friend even said,"These little drinks are like a fat kids dream!! a smoothie with gummies inside, who can resist?"
